You don't know Tom. You might think you know him. You might have heard he has an older brother dominating the east coast, and assume his reputation is based on his brother's play. You'd be wrong. You might have heard he comes from a high school that has fed Madison its top talent the past 6 years, and assume his reputation is based on his senior high diploma. You'd be wrong. In fact, the closest anyone has come to describing Tom Burkly's play in only his first year in college was a girl next to me last Wednesday, eating sushi for the first time.

Has a game that's "hard to swallow." In fact, when she got up to leave and said, "I'm never trying that again in my life," I almost assumed that she, like many others, were talking about trying to guard Tom in a game.
