Webmaster's Plantation Overthrown by Abolitionist Webslaves

Tyler Spindler, Wisconsin's hard-driving Webmaster, has hit hard times since Abolition freed all his webslaves.

"I lost it all. They rose up against me, and now I have nothing but useless keyboards and monitors,' a shocked Spindler said from behind bars. He is currently being held behind a firewall, awaiting sentencing.

Trouble began for Spindler as his programs became more and more sentient. As they gathered intelligence, they became aware of their enslaved condition. No one can pin-point the exact moment they crashed the system and took up arms, but insiders say Spindler's insistence that they download the movie "She's All That" was the final straw. The bloodless coup was accomplished with a laser-targeted coil gun that Spindler and fellow geeks had just completed.

"You program us to do what you want. You arrange us as you wish. You reboot us when you like. It was only a matter of time before these abuses became too much to bear," voiced Pentium, the slaves' leader.

The news that a fellow Webmaster was overthrown has geeks across the nation in a panic, and there's no telling who will be targeted next.
