The eldest, and possibly most experienced of the Hodags (at what we dare not admit), Eric fulfills an integral role for the team: instigation of drunken debauchery, and essentially promotion of ludicrous distractions to teammates (predominantly seniors Bob, Zach, and Pete). His two years of Madison ultimate summer league are blatantly apparent as he asks, "you mean to tell me that we don't start drinking until AFTER the game is over?" At times, he acts as both the TaeBo captain of Team Sideline (along with D'Amour of course), as well as an indentured apprentice to Kolstad's exquisite and obviously tenured score-keeping technique(s). A big blow to his ultimate career came last summer when he dove for a softball and dislocated his left shoulder. As such, his shoulder lacks intact ligaments in the front, officially making him one half gimp. Eric's pastime activities include everything from bar hopping to 40oz Fridays, depicting his profound love for malted beverages (and definite lack of complexity). His most sacred possession and weakness, is his Labrador, Kaylee, for whom he would sacrifice all that is important to him.
